Tax Break Boosts China Car Sales in April
China’s total sales of passenger and commercial vehicles were 2.12 million units in April, up 6.32% from 2015. A halving of the 10% purchase tax on small-engine cars, together with China's favorable credit policies, has boosted car sales since the fourth quarter of last year, greatly reducing pressure on dealers with high inventory levels.

Bosch's China revenue increases 19% to 82 billion yuan in 2015
China is now Bosch's second-largest global market. China's share of Bosch's sales has risen from 9 to 16 percent over the past three years. Being optimistic about China's long-term prospects, the company plans to open a new plant in Wuhu this year to produce components for its car multimedia division and is expanding its software development in China.

A 'connected' SUV jointly developed by SAIC and Alibaba
SAIC Motor Corp is going to sell an SUV that features software developed with Alibaba Group Holding in September. Studies reveal that customer spending on connected cars' technologies will reach an estimated 40.3 billion euros (295.9 billion yuan) this year, with safety and autonomous driving functions the most popular areas.
