While China remains the world’s leading textile exporter, Vietnam and the rest of ASEAN are rising fast. According to Statista, Vietnam is the fourth largest apparel exporter and among the top three textile importers globally. International trade agreements and strong government support has resulted in a boom in Vietnamese buying offices and greatly enhanced its textile industry, with demand for fabrics and garment accessories especially strong.
Positioned to complement the Greater China market, the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT) is co-organised by Messe Frankfurt and VIETRADE, Vietnam’s governmental trade promotion agency. The comprehensive trade fair for apparel, technical textiles, and the entire textile value chain is set to take place from 28 February – 1 March 2024 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City. | | |
