Dear Sir / Madam,
25 – 27 August 2021 National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai)
A strong demand for garments in domestic and overseas markets = a strong demand for accessories
China’s population of 1.4 billion constitutes a huge market for clothing and one that is growing year by year. According to figures released by Euromonitor, China’s adult garment market was worth around USD 332 billion in 2019, an increase of 5.2% from 2018. Despite a decline caused by the pandemic in 2020, long term prospects are still promising, as the market is expected to increase to USD 343 billion in 2021.
Besides high domestic demand, China is the largest producer and exporter of textiles and apparel in the world. So in turn, all related accessories such as buttons, zips, embroidery and more are highly sought after. Join Accessories Vision, a dedicated zone for accessories suppliers at Intertextile Apparel and discover the potential in China’s recovering market!
Feedback from exhibitors at the 2020 Autumn Edition
“We have joined this fair for over five years because Intertextile holds a leading position among textile fairs in China, APAC and even worldwide. Apparel is a basic need and following the rapid improvement of people’s living standards in China, we have confidence that the demand for apparel will increase after the pandemic stabilises. For both fast-growing independent brands in China and international brands that want to enter the Chinese market, Shanghai serves as a very important checkpoint.” Mr Tony Ji, Assistant President, KEE (Zhejiang) Garment Accessories Limited, China
“We participate in this fair every year. It is the biggest fair for the industry in China and the results are also the best. Over the past few days, we may have contacted thousands of customers already. We also participated in Intertextile Shenzhen, which was better than expected, even exceeding our expectations. We will come again next year because of the fair’s large scale and visitor quality. Mr Jianming Li, General Manager, Sanhe (Hong Kong) Thread Co Ltd, China
“We have been exhibiting at Intertextile Apparel for a few years, and we think this fair’s visitors are of good quality. Our main goals are to promote our brand, let the industry know that we are still in business, and connect with new clients. Eco-friendly products are gaining popularity in China now. In general, we think this fair is great, so we will join again next year.” Mr Kevin Wu, General Manager, Ideal (Shanghai) Trading Co Ltd, China
