PLSG successfully supports the industry recovery
With 41,556 visitors and 677 exhibitors in attendance, the 2020 edition of Prolight + Sound Guangzhou 2020 (21 – 24 August) successfully provided an effective and high quality business platform for professionals in the entertainment, media and AV industry to reconnect, rebuild and network. Below are some highlights of what took place during the fair.
PLSG maintains its leading position in the industry 
Product categories extended to include technological convergence
Under the motto of “Beyond lighting and sound”, the 2020 edition offered more distinguished product categories that engaged users with digital experiences. Technological convergence was the main focus of the fair, with the newest entertainment, AV equipment and related integration opportunities attracting the attention of potential buyers.
PLSG embraces digitalisation

An "offline + online" experience was featured this year.

Live streamed for the first time on HC360.com (one of China’s largest online trade media platforms) and the PLSG official WeChat platform, the entire exhibition, including exhibitor interviews, product demonstrations and fringe events proved popular among online viewers, receiving 165,000 views.
Topical issues explored at fringe events
To help industry practioners in the post COVID-19 era, safety topics dealing with the reopening of live events were added to PLSG Annual Training Course. Other educational events that took place included the Acoustic Block Forum, 'Opportunities and Challenge of Audio Technology in Artificial Intelligence' and a Carving Art Exhibition.

An outdoor line array, one of the signature fringe events of PLSG, gathered 20 professional audio brands to showcase the sound qualities of their products in real time.
